Role Summary:

As Retail Manager at Manam Chocolate, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our Retail Section. Candidate will be responsible for delivering a premium customer experience, ensuring operational excellence across both the caf and chocolate retail zones, and driving team performance, sales, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Retail & Boutique Operations

- Manage retail displays of chocolates, gift hampers, merchandise, and limited-edition collections.
- Ensure retail section is visually appealing, well-stocked, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Train team on product knowledge, chocolate storytelling, and upselling techniques.
- Conduct inventory checks and coordinate with supply chain for timely replenishments.

2. Guest Experience & Brand Engagement

- Cultivate a warm, personalized customer experience across both caf and boutique areas.
- Ensure the Retail ambiance aligns with the brand image.
- Lead initiatives like tastings, product sampling, and seasonal promotions.
- Collect and respond to customer feedback (in-person and online).
- Train staff to be brand ambassadors and narrate the Manam chocolate journey.

3. Team Leadership & Performance

- Recruit, train, and manage Retail Staff including service Team lead & CSA.
- Develop shift rosters and ensure adequate staffing during peak and off-peak hours.
- Conduct daily briefings, team huddles, and performance evaluations.




- Drive a collaborative, positive, and guest-focused work culture.

4. Sales, Reporting & Admin

- Monitor daily Retail sales; analyse trends and KPIs.
- Report on product performance, guest preferences, and feedback.
- Oversee cash handling, reconciliation, and POS operations.
- Coordinate with the central marketing and operations team for events, activations, and campaigns.

Key Skills & Attributes:

- Strong people and operations management skills
- Passion for premium hospitality and artisanal products
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability
- Knowledge of Caf/ Kitchen workflow and retail merchandising
- Hands-on F&B; and retail experience
- Knowledge of inventory and cost control
- Proficient in POS systems, inventory, and basic reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree/diploma in Hospitality, F&B;, Retail Management, or related field.
- 5- 8 years of experience managing a high-end caf, QSR, or boutique retail store
- Experience in Premium/ Luxury Food & Beverage or lifestyle brands preferred
