We’re Hiring: Operations & Production Associate | Tiny Social Design

At Tiny Social Design, every product brings together materials, makers, and design. We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and hands-on Operations & Production Associate to help us bring those products to life, from sample development through to the finished piece.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving, and who likes working in a creative, hands-on environment alongside artisans, vendors, and our design team.

What you’ll do:

- Coordinate day-to-day production with artisans, vendors, and internal teams, keeping requirements and timelines on track
- Manage production follow-ups, samples, orders, and the movement of materials and finished products
- Onboard and coordinate with recent artisans, vendors, and material suppliers
- Monitor quality across materials, samples, and finished products, and coordinate rework where needed
- Track inventory, coordinate procurement, and maintain organised stock and records
- Maintain production, vendor, inventory, and expense documentation on Google Sheets and Drive
- Assist with vendor payments, petty cash, invoices, and expense tracking




- Support the upkeep of our studio and workshop
- Identify operational issues early, own their resolution, and escalate when needed

What we’re looking for:

- 1–3 years of experience in operations, production, project coordination, or a similar role
- Strong organisational, communication, and follow-up skills
- A hands-on, detail-oriented approach and comfort managing multiple priorities
- Ease working with artisans, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Basic proficiency with Google Sheets, Drive, and similar tools
- Curiosity about products, materials, design, craft, and making
- Creative, practical thinking when solving production challenges
- Willingness to travel locally and work in a hands-on production environment

Experience with artisans, handicrafts, design-led businesses, or social enterprises is an advantage but not essential. ? Location: Mumbai
