Job Summary The OJT Trainee – F&B; Service will undergo practical training in hotel Food &

- Beverage operations, gaining hands-on experience in restaurant service, banquet operations, buffet service and guest handling. The trainee will learn hotel service standards, operational procedures and professional hospitality practices under the guidance of the departmental team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Restaurant Operations

- Assist in daily restaurant operations and service activities.

- Learn table setup, mise-en-place and restaurant opening and closing procedures.

- Assist in taking guest orders and serving food and beverages.

- Ensure tables are properly maintained and cleared.

- Understand menu knowledge and basic food and beverage offerings.

1. Banquet Operations

- Assist in banquet hall setup for meetings, conferences and social events.

- Arrange tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

- Support buffet setup, food replenishment and banquet service.

- Assist in dismantling and clearing banquet venues after events.

1. Guest Service

- Greet and interact with guests professionally.

- Learn service etiquette and guest handling techniques.

- Attend to guest requests under the guidance of supervisors.

- Ensure guest satisfaction through courteous and prompt service.

Hygiene &
- Safety

- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and banquet areas.

- Follow personal grooming and hygiene standards.

- Understand food safety and sanitation practices.

- Handle service equipment carefully and responsibly.

1. Learning &
- Development

- Participate in departmental training and daily briefings.

- Learn hotel SOPs and brand service standards.

- Develop knowledge of food menus, beverages and service sequences.

- Complete assigned OJT training modules and practical assessments.
