Job Summary
We are looking for experienced and dedicated Nurse In-Charges to manage nursing operations at our Senior Care Homes in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, managing clinical activities and maintaining nursing standards while providing compassionate care to elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day nursing activities at the Senior Care Home.
- Ensure proper nursing care, medication administration and monitoring of residents.
- Monitor vital signs, health conditions and clinical changes in elderly residents.
- Manage nursing staff, allocate duties and ensure proper shift handovers.
- Coordinate with doctors, caregivers and other healthcare professionals.
- Handle medical emergencies and ensure timely escalation and intervention.
- Maintain nursing records, medication charts,
treatment records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure infection control protocols, hygiene standards and patient safety practices.
- Monitor residents with chronic illnesses and post-hospitalisation care requirements.
- Guide, train and supervise junior nursing staff and caregivers.
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, nursing standards and organisational policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families regarding care-related matters.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.Sc. Nursing or GNM qualification is mandatory.
- 5–6 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Experience in hospitals, nursing homes, geriatric care or elderly care facilities is preferred.
- Good clinical knowledge and nursing management skills.
- Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies and manage nursing teams.
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts.
- Both male and female candidates are welcome.
