Requirements

- NSX design and deployment: at least 3 end-to-end enterprise NSX (NSX-T / NSX 4.x) projects as lead designer, covering Edge clusters, Tier-0/Tier-1 gateways, BGP/OSPF, overlay (Geneve), NAT, load balancing and VPN.

- NSX security: Distributed Firewall, micro-segmentation, Gateway Firewall and security policy design.

- VCF design and deployment: hands-on VCF 4.x/5.x delivery, including SDDC Manager, management and VI workload domains, vSAN, lifecycle management and bring-up.

- Multi-site and scale: NSX Federation, stretched clusters or multi-region designs.

- Migrations: NSX-V to NSX-T migration or brownfield network integration.

- Core infrastructure: solid vSphere, data center networking (L2/L3, VLANs, spine-leaf), and physical network integration.

- VMware certifications such as VCP-NV, VCAP-NV Design/Deploy, VCP-VCF or VCDX-NV.

- Exposure to Aria (vRealize) Operations, Aria Operations for Networks, Aria Automation and HCX.

- Automation with PowerCLI, Python, Terraform or Ansible against NSX and VCF APIs.





- Familiarity with Avi Load Balancer, Tanzu / vSphere with Kubernetes networking, and integration with physical firewalls.

Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Lead discovery workshops with customer stakeholders to capture business, security, and network requirements

- Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) for NSX and VCF, including logical topology, routing, micro-segmentation, and multi-site architecture.

- Collaborate with Broadcom architects on design validation, best practices, escalations and product roadmap alignment.

- Technically guide and mentor the implementation team through build, migration, testing, and handover.

- Present designs, trade-offs, and progress clearly to technical teams and senior client leadership.

- Own delivery quality: review build documents, as-built reports, test plans, and runbooks.

- Plan and execute migrations from NSX-V, legacy networks, or older VCF versions with minimal disruption.

- Identify risks early, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure requirements are delivered on time.
