- INTERIOR ENGINEER (FIT-OUT)

Project: Hotel / Hospitality Development - Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Role: Interior Site Engineer / Fit-Out Engineer

Experience: 4-8 Years

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (In office)

Reporting To: Project Manager / Chief Project Coordinator

1. Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Interior Site Engineer with a proven track record in high-end hospitality and hotel fit-outs to manage interior execution at our Raipur hotel project.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Site Execution & Quality Control

- Supervise day-to-day interior fit-out works including drywalls/partitions, false ceilings (POP / Gypsum / Acoustic), flooring (Italian marble, tiles, wooden, carpet), wall cladding, and high-end paint/polish finishes.
- Execute and inspect Mock-up Rooms (Guest Room & Bathroom) to establish benchmark quality standards before rollout across guest floors.
- Ensure millimetre-level accuracy in alignment and plumb for all architectural joinery, doors, jambs, and bespoke casework.

B. MEP & Services Coordination
- Coordinate between interior contractors and MEP / HVAC / Fire Fighting / ELV teams to prevent clashes above ceilings and inside wall cavities (e.g., FCU access panels, diffuser locations, cove lighting, sprinkler drops, sensor points).
- Verify wet area waterproofing (bathrooms, pantries, service bars) and conduct mandatory ponding tests before tiling/marble installation.

C. Drawing Management & Approvals





- Review interior architectural GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, shop drawings, millwork details, and MEP overlays; raise RFIs for any discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing and verifying as-built interior drawings prior to handover.

D. Material & Vendor Management

- Verify incoming material shipments against approved sample boards, cut-sheets, and specifications (veneers, laminates, acoustic panels, architectural hardware, sanitary fittings).
- Monitor sub-contractor labour deployment, maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR), and verify measurement sheets (M-Books) for billing.

3. Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Education: http://B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or http://B.Des / Diploma in Interior Architecture & Design.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 completed cycles of hotel, resort, or luxury banquet/restaurant interior fit-outs.
- Technical Knowledge: Hands-on knowledge of hospitality guestroom standards, public areas (lobby, all-day dining, ballrooms), and BOH acoustic and fire-rating guidelines.
- Software Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel, and reading MEP coordination drawings.
- Soft Skills: Fluent in Hindi and English; strong team management skills to drive local labour, specialized trade contractors, and millwork vendors.
