Job Summary

We are looking for a SMARTOps Engineer with 2 -6 years of experience to provide 24x7 operational support, infrastructure monitoring, and incident management. The candidate should possess basic networking, Windows Server, and cloud administration knowledge, along with experience in monitoring tools, PagerDuty, and ITSM platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor infrastructure, applications, cloud resources, and network devices using enterprise monitoring tools.
- Respond to alerts and incidents generated through monitoring platforms and PagerDuty.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for network, server, and cloud-related issues.
- Create, update, track, and close incidents in ITSM tools.
- Escalate incidents to appropriate support teams based on defined procedures.
- Acknowledge and manage PagerDuty alerts within defined SLAs.
- Maintain operational documentation and incident records.
- Participate in shift handovers and ensure smooth transition between teams.
- Follow Incident, Event, Change, and Problem Management processes.

Required Skills

- 1-2 years of experience in IT Operations, Infrastructure Monitoring, or NOC Support.




- Basic Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, VPN, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Basic Windows Server knowledge including user administration, services, event logs, server health checks, and troubleshooting.
- Basic Cloud knowledge (Azure/AWS) including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, and Access Management.
- Understanding of Incident, Event, and Alert Management processes.
- Experience with ITSM/Ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
- Hands-on exposure to PagerDuty for alerting, escalation, and incident response.
- Valuable troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM, PRTG, Zabbix, Nagios, Dynatrace, or LogicMonitor.
- Basic understanding of Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or equivalent monitoring tools.
- ITIL Foundation certification is an added advantage.
