Role Description This is a part time, remote Motion Video Editor role focused on creating engaging video content for Decode404 and its clients.

The Motion Video

Editor will edit raw footage into polished videos, including trimming, sequencing, adding transitions, and integrating audio elements. Day-to-day work includes designing and animating motion graphics, enhancing visual quality through color grading, and aligning content with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The role also involves collaborating with strategists, designers,



and marketers to translate complex ideas into clear visual stories for digital platforms.

The Motion Video

Editor is expected to manage timelines, maintain organized project files, and deliver consistent, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for digital and social media formats.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and high-quality imagery.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating animated elements, titles, and visual assets.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and work collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and portfolio demonstrating relevant motion and video work are required.
- Experience producing content for digital marketing, social media, or tech/consulting brands is an advantage.
