Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong knowledge of 2D and 3D modelling, mechanical design, simulation, and engineering analysis. The candidate should have hands-on experience with design software and be capable of developing, analysing, and improving mechanical components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D and 3D mechanical designs, models, and engineering drawings.
- Develop components, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Perform engineering simulations and analysis using ANSYS Workbench and ANSYS Fluent.
- Work on CAD, CAM, and CAE-related activities.
- Create and modify designs using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and CATIA V5.
- Conduct design validation and performance analysis.
- Interpret technical drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), technical documents, and design reports.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams.
- Identify design improvements to enhance product quality,



performance, and manufacturability.
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications and engineering standards.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.
- Practical knowledge of CAD modelling and engineering simulations.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering industry.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical component and assembly design.
- Knowledge of product development and design optimisation.
- Ability to independently handle design projects.
