Synthetic Route Design &

- Flow Implementation

- Design and optimize synthetic schemes (from milligram to kilogram/pilot scale) utilizing continuous-flow reactor systems, microreactors, or packed-bed technologies.

- Develop continuous processes for challenging transformations (e.g., hazardous intermediates, cryogenic reactions, high-pressure hydrogenations, photochemistry, or electrochemistry).

- Conduct route scouting, proof-of-concept (PoC) studies, and kinetic/thermodynamic evaluations in flow.

2. Team &

- Project Management

- Manage and mentor a team of chemists, engineers, and technicians typically 1015 staff

- Oversee project deliverables, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to maximize productivity while minimizing cost and turnaround times (TAT).

- Communicate progress, technical hurdles, and milestone updates directly to internal stakeholders and external clients.

3. Scale-Up &





- Technology Transfer

- Transition laboratory-scale flow concepts to pilot plants, kilo-labs, or manufacturing lines via numbering-up or reactor optimization.

- Collaborate closely with chemical engineers, EHS (Setting, Health &
- Safety), Quality Assurance (QA), and Operations to draft process design packages (PDPs), PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams), and risk assessments (HAZOP).

- Support regulatory filings, CMC documentation, and Drug Master File (DMF) data generation where applicable.

Technical Competencies:

- Deep mastery of organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.

- Hands-on proficiency with flow equipment.

- Understanding of reaction engineering, heat/mass transfer, and residence time distribution (RTD).
