About the Role

BEI Technologies is hiring an Installation & Service Manager for LPDC machines with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.

The candidate will manage technical coordination between customers and our LPDC machine supplier, HDTD, China, from pre-manufacturing technical clarification through PDI, installation, commissioning, casting trials and after-sales support.

This is a Faridabad-based role involving travel to customer and supplier sites as required. Immediate joiner required.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Coordination Before Manufacturing

- Understand customer requirements and clarify machine specifications, layouts, interfaces and project scope.
- Coordinate technical discussions between customers and HDTD, China.
- Close pending technical points before manufacturing and document agreed requirements and responsibilities.

Pre-Dispatch Inspection

- Plan and conduct or coordinate PDI against approved specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Verify machine configuration, functionality, safety features, accessories and dispatch scope.
- Follow up on deviations and provide technical clearance after satisfactory verification and closure of critical issues.

Installation Planning

- Prepare installation schedules, manpower plans and site-readiness checklists.
- Communicate foundation, unloading, handling, utility and other installation requirements to customers.




- Clearly define customer responsibilities and verify readiness before team deployment.

Installation and Casting Trials

- Plan, deploy and supervise installation and commissioning teams.
- Resolve site issues in coordination with customers and the supplier.
- Monitor safety, quality, progress and completion timelines.
- Supervise casting trials against agreed acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate training, pending-point closure and customer handover.

After-Sales Support

- Manage service requests, troubleshooting, warranty coordination and spare-parts support.
- Deploy service engineers and coordinate technical assistance with the supplier.
- Maintain project and service records and guide the technical team.

Required Candidate Profile

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant LPDC machinery experience.
- Experience supervising installation/service teams and managing customer-site projects.
- Solid understanding of LPDC processes and machine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
- Ability to review specifications, drawings and acceptance requirements.
- Strong customer communication, planning and technical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate with an overseas machine supplier.
- Willingness to travel; valid passport preferred.

Direct LPDC machinery experience and installation/service team supervision are required.
