Job Overview

Mercury Exports is seeking a sharp, resourceful Logistics Operations Executive to oversee our dual-channel transport networks. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating Bangalore local intracity deliveries and tracking our long-haul LCV movements along the busy Chennai and Hyderabad corridors. The ideal candidate has direct experience managing commercial drivers, handling real-time transit disruptions, and maintaining flawless digital trip logs.

Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Coordination: Plan, assign, and dispatch Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) for local milk runs and interstate routes (Bangalore-Chennai / Bangalore-Hyderabad).
- On-Call Transit Support: Provide critical on-call operational tracking and support to long-haul drivers during night transits and early morning off-loading windows.
- Data & Log Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital trip sheets, fuel logs, and transit expense reports using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and our customized Transport Management System (TMS).
- Driver & Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers; resolve en-route issues such as breakdowns, route diversions, or check-post delays.
- Compliance & Documentation:



Verify and track all critical trip documentation, including E-Way Bills, LR/Bilty copies, and Proof of Delivery (POD) submissions.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years of proven experience as an Operations Executive in a logistics company, freight forwarding firm, or transport agency.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced hands-on experience with MS Excel / Google Sheets (using formulas, filters, and pivot tables) and operating digital Logistics/TMS software.
- Operational Flexibility: Willingness to provide adaptable on-call support during interstate overnight vehicle movements.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in Kannada and English is required to effectively manage local drivers and corporate reporting; working knowledge of Tamil or Telugu is a major plus.
- Problem-Solving: High emotional resilience and quick decision-making skills to manage on-road emergencies or driver call-outs.

Pay: ₹220,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
