Hiring Legal Counsel/Lawyer for technology-driven Fintech startup

Salary up to 6.0 LPA based on experience and current salary.

Location- Sindhubhavan road, Ahmedabad

About the Role

We are looking for a Lawyer to handle the company’s legal, contractual, regulatory and compliance requirements, especially for our digital/app-based business activities.

Objective To ensure that the company's business activities, applications, agreements and services are legally structured, properly documented and compliant with applicable Indian laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

 Handle and review legal agreements and contracts with vendors, partners, service providers, founders, investors and other parties.

 Draft and review Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, User Agreements, Refund/Cancellation Policies and other app-related legal documents.

 Review new features, services and business models from a legal and regulatory perspective before implementation.

 Advise on applicable Indian laws and regulations for the company's business activities.

 Review legal requirements related to payments, wallet/rewards, recharge, ticket booking, promotions and other digital services.





 Review Founder–Investor related agreements and platform activities and identify where additional regulatory requirements may apply.

 Review any sports contest-related features, if introduced and advise on applicable legal requirements.

 Help protect the company's intellectual property, brand, content, software and other business assets.

 Handle legal notices, disputes and coordination with external legal counsel when required.

 Maintain proper legal documentation and advise management on legal risks and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of Indian corporate, commercial, contract, IT, data privacy and digital business laws.

 Valuable contract drafting and negotiation skills.

 Strong legal research and analytical skills.

 Good communication and documentation skills.

 Understanding of technology, mobile applications, online platforms and digital businesses is preferred.

Qualification

 LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.

 Enrolled with the Bar Council of India/appropriate State Bar Council, where required for the role.

Office Hours/ Shift Timings: 10 AM to 7 PM

Working Days: 6 days (Alternate Saturday Off)
