We are seeking an experienced Lease Accounting Senior Team Lead to oversee lease accounting operations, ensure regulatory compliance, drive financial reporting accuracy, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Lease Accounting & Financial Compliance

- Lead and manage lease accounting operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain lease accounting policies, procedures, and control frameworks aligned with applicable accounting standards.
- Oversee lease portfolio accounting activities, including asset management, lease liabilities, disclosures, and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal governance standards.

Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, reconciliations, and audits to support business and finance objectives.
- Develop and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and management insights related to lease accounting activities.
- Monitor lease-related expenses, capital investments, and financial performance indicators.
- Provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Partnership
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.




- Collaborate with business stakeholders to evaluate financial impacts and support operational planning.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities for cost optimization and process efficiencies.
- Partner with finance and operational teams to improve financial performance and reporting quality.

Team Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting professionals while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and technology adoption.
- Support transformation projects and contribute to operational excellence initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with finance, legal, technology, and other business functions to ensure effective lease accounting processes.
- Serve as a key point of contact for auditors and regulatory reviews.
- Present financial insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams and key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication of accounting requirements across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Typically 6-10 years of progressive experience in lease accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis roles.
- Experience leading teams and managing complex accounting processes.
- Solid understanding of financial controls, reporting requirements, and accounting compliance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Professional accounting certification such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent.
- Advanced knowledge of lease accounting standards and financial reporting regulations.
- Experience leading transformation, automation, or process improvement initiatives.
- Exposure to enterprise financial systems and lease accounting platforms.
