Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Learning Experience Designer (LXD) with strong knowledge of IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) assessment structures, exam-style question design, and experience in copy editing.

The LXD will be responsible for the final-stage editorial, instructional, and assessment review of

IBDP exam-style questions. The role will focus on evaluating questions for alignment with client style guidelines, IBDP assessment expectations, clarity, assessment questions quality, and platform presentation.

Expertise in a specific subject area is not required, but is preferred, Subject-matter experts

(SMEs) will be available to address subject-specific questions.

Key Responsibilities

● Conduct final-stage reviews of IBDP exam-style questions within the client platform,

evaluating assessment quality, clarity, cognitive demand, and learner experience.

● Ensure alignment with IBDP assessment structures, question types, and assessment objectives.

● Fix mechanical errors, as well as wording, formatting, instructional,



and ID issues; flag moderate or substantive issues for supplier/SME revision.

● Work with SMEs to provide explicit, actionable feedback and review revised questions.

● Apply consistent editorial, assessment, and LXD standards across high-volume content and identify recurring issues to improve quality and reduce rework.

Required Qualifications & Experience

● Experience in Learning Experience Design / Instructional Design and Copy Editing.

● Strong understanding of assessment and question design.

● Experience with IBDP assessment/question writing or review is highly preferred.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate assessment content objectively.

● Experience working with content suppliers or external development teams is a plus.

Preferred Experience

● Previous experience writing, reviewing, editing, or quality-assuring IBDP assessment questions.

● Experience with IB Diploma Programme assessment frameworks, question formats,

and assessment objectives.

● Experience reviewing assessments in a digital learning platform.

● Experience working in a multi-vendor/content production environment.
