About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Global Accounts Payable (AP) and General Ledger (GL) Specialist to support our worldwide finance operations. The ideal candidate will have strong end-to-end AP processing knowledge solid GL accounting experience and the ability to work across multiple geographies currencies and time zones. This role will support month-end close global AP operations compliance audits and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end AP processes including invoice validation 3-way matching posting and payment runs.
- Perform daily/monthly GL accounting including journal entries accruals prepayments and reclassifications.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy tax compliance (WHT/TDS GST/VAT) and appropriate approvals.
- Monitor aging resolve vendor queries and maintain vendor master data.
- Coordinate with procurement and business teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Support global payment cycles and ensure compliance with company policies and SOX/internal controls.




- Process employee expense claims and corporate credit card reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations for global entities.
- Support month-end quarter-end and year-end close activities ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Assist in intercompany transactions confirmations and reconciliations.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP & GL processes and Support implementation of automation tools or ERP enhancements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
- 3 years of experience in AP and GL roles preferably in a global or shared service environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Netsuite is an added advantage).
- Solid understanding of accounting principles multi-currency accounting and month-end close processes.
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP Pivot Tables basic formulas).
- Excellent communication skills for working with global stakeholders and vendors.
