About the Role

Provide hands-on functional expertise in JDE Job Cost and Contract Billing for NE/MOD project lifecycles, ensuring accurate invoice generation, supporting various billing scenarios, assessing downstream impacts, defining e-invoicing data and integration requirements, and supporting testing, deployment and ongoing support activities.

Responsibilities

- JDE Job Cost and Contract Billing
- Provide hands-on functional expertise in JDE Job Cost and Contract Billing for NE/MOD project lifecycles.
- Validate job/project, cost code, customer, contract billing master, billing line, milestone/progress billing and related setup required for accurate invoice generation.
- Ensure billing scenarios are supported, including establishment or advance billing, milestone billing, progress claims, variations, retentions, final billing and corrective documents.
- Assess downstream impact on Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, revenue recognition, project status and job close controls.
- E-invoicing data and integration
- Define the source-to-target mapping from JDE tables/fields and invoice outputs to the approved UAE e-invoice format and service-provider interface.
- Identify mandatory data gaps across customer master, tax registration details, addresses, invoice lines, tax codes, payment terms, contract/project references and document relationships.
- Partner with integration and technical teams on extraction, transformation, interface controls, acknowledgements, error messages, resubmission and audit trail requirements.
- Support design decisions for document identifiers, invoice/credit-note linkage, duplicate prevention, status updates and archival references.
- Testing, deployment and support




- Prepare functional test scenarios and expected results for unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing and regression testing.
- Execute and support end-to-end testing from JDE billing through service-provider exchange and status reconciliation; triage defects and drive resolution.
- Prepare cutover inputs, open-item and master-data readiness checks, deployment validation, hypercare monitoring and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Create or update functional specifications, process flows, configuration documents, reconciliation procedures, control evidence and support runbooks.

Required Skills

- Required Experience and Skills
- 6+ years of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional experience, with robust hands-on expertise in Job Cost and Contract Billing.
- Experience supporting project-based customer billing, preferably in engineering, construction, elevators, industrial projects or other milestone/progress billing environments.
- Strong understanding of JDE customer, contract, job/project, billing, accounts receivable and general ledger process integration.
- Ability to analyze invoice data requirements and map JDE source fields to structured outbound messages or middleware interfaces.
- Experience preparing functional design documents, configuration specifications, data mappings, test scripts, defect analysis and cutover plans.
- Working knowledge of VAT/tax invoice concepts, credit notes, advance payments, retentions, self-billing or other complex billing scenarios.
- Experience working with integration teams, tax/business stakeholders, third-party service providers and geographically distributed delivery teams.
- Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills; able to convert regulatory and business requirements into practical JDE changes.
