ITI Fitter – Tool Room Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform fitting operations such as filing, drilling, tapping, grinding, and polishing.
- Assist in tool and die manufacturing, maintenance, and repair.
- Operate basic machining equipment such as drilling, milling, and lathe machines.
- Perform fitting and assembly of dies, punches, and other tool components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and dimensions.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Perform deburring, surface finishing, and dimensional corrections.
- Assist in die setting, trial, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain tools, machines, and equipment in positive condition.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S in the tool room.

Key Skills: Fitting, drilling, tapping, grinding, milling, lathe operation, drawing reading, measurement, tool and die maintenance. Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
