– IT Assistant (Distillery Industry)

Job Purpose: Responsible for providing day-to-day IT support, maintaining computer systems, networks, printers, software, and IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and uninterrupted functioning of all departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and network infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
- Provide support for HRMS, ERP, email, and other office-related software.
- Maintain data backups, antivirus protection, and basic IT security.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and email configurations.
- Maintain IT asset records, software licences, and equipment inventory.
- Coordinate with external IT vendors and service providers for technical issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT-related complaints and minimize system downtime.
- Maintain IT documentation and ensure compliance with company IT policies.

Area of Responsibility Responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure,



providing technical support, managing computer systems and networks, ensuring data security and backup, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across all departments.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and networking.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and email systems.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/HRMS software.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

- Timely resolution of IT complaints.
- Minimum IT system downtime.
- Regular data backup and security compliance.
- Proper maintenance of IT assets.
- Smooth functioning of network and IT infrastructure.
