Job Location: Bihar, India Employment Type: Full-time Experience Required: 3 years Salary: 20K32K a month Location: Kankarbagh, Patna, Bihar Position: IT Administrator Experience: 3 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary Fillip Technology is looking for a skilled and responsible IT Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Linux and Microsoft environments, virtualization technologies such as VMware, network administration, scripting, and automation. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, maintaining network connectivity, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting efficient IT operations.

Key Responsibilities Install, configure, manage, and maintain Linux and Microsoft-based operating systems. Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Manage virtualization environments using VMware and other relevant virtualization platforms.

Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance, connectivity, and system availability. Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security policies.

Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, security patches, and upgrades. Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine IT administration tasks. Identify and resolve hardware, software, server, and network-related issues.

Monitor system logs, troubleshoot errors, and perform root-cause analysis. Assist with data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures.



Maintain IT asset records, system configurations, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT support and infrastructure maintenance. Implement IT security practices to protect systems, networks, and organizational data. Provide technical support to employees and assist with day-to-day IT requirements.

Required Skills &

Qualifications BE/B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in IT administration or system administration. Practical knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

Experience in server installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Hands-on knowledge of VMware or other virtualization technologies. Good understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and switching.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python for automation. Understanding of system monitoring, patch management, backup, and recovery processes. Familiarity with user account management and IT security practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Positive communication, documentation, and team coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple IT tasks and work independently.
