Key Responsibilities

- Design, build, and operate Intune as a scalable endpoint platform covering MDM, MAM, compliance, and app protection for corporate and BYOD devices.
- Architect and implement Entra ID and Conditional Access policies using risk-based, least-privilege access patterns.
- Integrate the Microsoft security stack (Defender, Purview) into a cohesive Zero Trust model across identity, devices, and data.
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and reporting with PowerShell and scripting, and move platform configuration toward infrastructure-as-code.
- Support hybrid identity and secure connectivity (Entra Connect, VPN, ZTNA) as the organisation modernises.
- Work within ITSM and change management processes to deliver changes that are auditable, repeatable, and low-risk.




- Document standards and patterns, and contribute ideas to the long-term platform roadmap.

Must-Have Skills

- Intune at depth: Hands-on design and operation of MDM and MAM, including compliance policies and app protection for BYOD at scale.
- Identity as the control plane: Designing and implementing Entra ID and Conditional Access, including risk-based, least-privilege access patterns.
- Microsoft security stack: A working command of Defender, Purview, and Zero Trust principles, and how they fit together end to end.
- Automation-first mindset: Azure (or equivalent cloud) experience, with PowerShell and scripting used to automate, standardise, and remove manual effort.
