Job Summary

Welcare Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced Interventional Neurologist to join our Neurology team in Kochi. The candidate will be responsible for providing advanced neurological care, performing neuro-interventional procedures, and managing patients with complex cerebrovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, evaluate and manage patients with neurological and cerebrovascular disorders.
- Perform neuro-interventional procedures, including mechanical thrombectomy and other endovascular interventions, as clinically indicated.
- Manage acute stroke and other neurovascular emergencies.
- Evaluate patients and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Coordinate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, radiologists and critical care teams.




- Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

Educational Qualification

- DM / DrNB in Neurology
- Fellowship in Interventional Neurology

Experience

- Relevant experience in Interventional Neurology preferred.
- Experience in neuro-interventional procedures and stroke management will be an added advantage.
