About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Mathematics Teacher to teach students across the IGCSE and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curricula. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make mathematical concepts engaging, practical, and easy to understand.

The role also involves integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital learning tools into classroom teaching to encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Mathematics

Teaching &

- Curriculum Delivery

- Teach Mathematics to secondary-level students following the IGCSE and/or IBDP curriculum.

- Develop structured lesson plans aligned with international curriculum standards.

- Explain complex mathematical concepts through practical examples, activities, and real-world applications.

- Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

- Adapt teaching methodologies to accommodate students with different learning needs and abilities.

2. AI &

- Technology Integration

- Incorporate AI-powered educational tools and digital resources into Mathematics teaching.

- Explore creative ways to use technology to simplify mathematical concepts and improve student engagement.

- Encourage students to use digital tools responsibly for research, analysis, and problem-solving.

- Leverage technology to create interactive learning experiences and improve academic outcomes.

Assessment &

- Academic Progress

- Conduct regular assessments,



assignments, classroom activities, and examinations.

- Evaluate student performance and identify areas requiring additional academic support.

- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve.

- Maintain academic records, student progress reports, and assessment documentation.

- Prepare students for IGCSE and IBDP external examinations.

- Mentorship

- Create an engaging, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

- Encourage independent learning, curiosity, and active classroom participation.

- Provide academic mentoring and guidance to students.

- Support students in developing confidence, discipline, and a positive approach towards learning.

- Communicate student progress and academic concerns effectively with parents.

5. Collaboration &

- Professional Development

- Work closely with fellow teachers and academic coordinators to enhance curriculum delivery.

- Participate in academic meetings, curriculum planning, and school activities.

- Stay updated with international teaching practices, Mathematics curriculum developments, and emerging educational technologies.

- Contribute to interdisciplinary learning activities and innovative teaching initiatives.

Required Qualifications &
- Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a relevant subject.

- B.Ed.



or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification is mandatory.

- Master's degree in Mathematics or Education is preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the secondary school level.

- Strong experience teaching Mathematics under the IGCSE and/or IBDP curriculum.

- Good understanding of international education standards and assessment methodologies.

- Excellent communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.

- Ability to design lesson plans, evaluate learning outcomes, and support students with diverse academic needs.

Preferred Skills &
- Experience

- Experience teaching both IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics.

- Practical knowledge of AI tools and their application in education and classroom learning.

- Experience using digital platforms and technology-enabled teaching methods.

- Familiarity with IB assessment frameworks, Cambridge examination patterns, and curriculum guidelines.

- Experience mentoring students and supporting their academic development.

- Exposure to IB Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), or other academic projects.

- IB/Cambridge training, examiner certification, or relevant professional development credentials will be an added advantage.
