Shifts: Might include evening shifts - 1pm to 10pm, part time or full time The Humble Pie is looking for enthusiastic and passionate culinary students or aspiring pastry chefs to join our kitchen as Pastry Chef Interns.

This internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a qualified bakery and pastry kitchen, working alongside experienced chefs and learning the fundamentals of commercial pastry production.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist chefs with daily preparation and production of cakes, pastries, pies, tarts and other baked goods.
- Learn and execute basic baking and pastry techniques.
- Assist with weighing, measuring and preparing ingredients.
- Maintain consistency in recipes, portioning and product presentation.
- Follow kitchen hygiene, food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with kitchen organisation,



stock handling and storage.
- Support the team in ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

What We Are Looking For
- Students pursuing or graduates of a culinary, bakery or pastry arts programme.
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Punctuality, discipline and a positive attitude.
