SUMMARY

- Analyze business needs, performance gaps, and learner requirements in partnership with business stakeholders and subject matter experts, recommending appropriate learning approaches and solutions.
- Design and develop instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced learning experiences using established instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Create high-quality learning materials, including facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning modules, assessments, microlearning, videos, job aids, and other performance-support resources.
- Manage assigned learning projects from analysis and design through development, implementation, and evaluation, maintaining clear timelines, stakeholder alignment, and quality standards.
- Develop working subject-matter knowledge of assigned business processes, systems, policies, and initiatives to translate complex information into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
- Partner with US-based Learning & Development leadership, business teams, and subject matter experts on major system, policy, and process implementations, developing learning and performance-support materials that enable successful adoption.
- Maintain and continuously improve existing curricula, training materials, manuals, and learning resources to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with current business practices.
- Support the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including content management, learner assignments, reporting, compliance tracking, and data-quality activities.
- Establish and apply consistent templates, design standards, and development practices across learning content to improve quality, usability, and scalability.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, learner feedback, utilization data, and relevant business measures, recommending improvements based on identified results and trends.
- Support the development and maintenance of operational policies and procedures by translating approved business requirements into clear,



accessible documentation and related learning materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve learning design and development through emerging technologies, Generative AI, authoring tools, and automation while maintaining appropriate quality, accuracy, and governance standards.
- Maintain organized learning content, source files, and supporting documentation with appropriate version control to support effective offshore-to-onshore collaboration and continuity.
- Work closely with US-based Learning & Development partners to maintain clear priorities and effective handoffs across time zones, enabling design and development activities to progress efficiently throughout the learning-development cycle.
- Work from the Bengaluru office under the hybrid working model, with working hours aligned to provide meaningful daily overlap with US business hours. Flexibility is expected during major system implementations, business rollouts, and other peak learning periods.
- Perform other Learning & Development, organizational development, and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, organizational development, human resources, communications, business administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Three or more years of experience in instructional design, learning and development, training, higher education, or a related learning function.
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing instructor-led, virtual, blended, and digital learning solutions using adult learning principles and established instructional design methodologies.




- Experience developing eLearning, job aids, facilitator materials, assessments, videos, and other learning content using contemporary authoring and content-development tools.
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) is required; experience supporting content administration, learner assignments, reporting, or compliance tracking is preferred.
- Proficiency with eLearning and content-development platforms such as Articulate 360, Captivate, Synthesia, or comparable tools; relevant instructional design or technology certifications are preferred.
- Strong ability to understand complex business processes, systems, or policies and translate them into clear, practical, and learner-focused content.
- Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple learning projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and review cycles simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in business English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with US-based leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, visual and presentation-design judgment, and a commitment to producing accurate, professional, and consistent learning materials.
- Ability to analyze learner feedback, assessment results, and other learning data to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Working knowledge of Generative AI and emerging learning technologies, with the ability to apply new tools thoughtfully to improve content development and learning experiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comfort learning new learning, content-development, and collaboration technologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, process changes, or operational rollouts is preferred.
- Experience within student housing, multifamily housing, property management, hospitality, or another geographically distributed operating business is preferred but not required.
