1. Job Purpose

To operate and monitor induction hardening machines for heat treatment of forging components, ensuring the required hardness, case depth, dimensional quality, and production targets are achieved as per customer specifications.

1. Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical trade.

- Candidates with relevant induction hardening experience will be preferred.

1. Experience

- 3–4 years of experience in induction hardening operations in an automotive or forging manufacturing industry.

- Knowledge of induction hardening processes and machine operations.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Operate induction hardening machines as per production requirements.

- Set machine parameters such as power, frequency, heating time, and quenching time.

- Handle loading and unloading of components safely.

- Monitor heating, quenching, and cooling processes.

- Maintain required hardness and case depth as per specifications.

- Conduct hardness testing using hardness testing equipment.

- Check components for quality defects and report abnormalities.

- Maintain daily production and rejection records.





- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of induction coils, fixtures, and quenching arrangements.

- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.

- Coordinate with the Quality and Production departments.

- Report machine breakdowns and process abnormalities to the concerned supervisor.

1. Required Technical Skills

- Knowledge of induction hardening machines.

- Basic understanding of heat treatment processes.

- Knowledge of hardness testing (HRC / HRB).

- Understanding of quenching processes and process parameters.

- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and specifications.

- Knowledge of production and quality documentation.

- Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
