We are seeking an HVAC Cost & Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate project cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and commercial proposals for HVAC projects. The ideal candidate should understand HVAC systems, drawings, specifications, material take-offs, and vendor pricing.

Key Responsibilities

- Review HVAC drawings, technical specifications, tender documents, and client requirements.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for ducting, piping, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, ventilation, insulation, and related accessories.
- Prepare HVAC BOQs, cost breakdowns, rate analyses, and commercial proposals.
- Obtain, compare, and evaluate quotations from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Analyze material, labour, equipment, overheads, and project-specific costs.
- Support tender submissions, bid documentation, and clarification responses.
- Coordinate with design, projects, procurement, sales, and site teams.
- Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities.
- Maintain estimation records, vendor rate databases, and historical project cost data.
- Assist in change-order pricing, budget tracking, and cost-control activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications




- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC estimation, costing, tendering, or project costing.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, insulation, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret HVAC layouts, GA drawings, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD and estimation/BOQ software is preferred.
- Positive analytical, communication, and vendor-coordination skills.
- Familiarity with tender documentation, commercial terms, and project budgets is desirable.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in HVAC contracting, MEP contracting, HVAC consultancy, or HVAC equipment/systems companies.
- Exposure to commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to work independently and meet proposal deadlines.
