This is a blended process (back office + voice) and a US shift . (7:30 pm IST), cab facility will be provided.

Position Summary The HR Compliance & Leave Verification Specialist is responsible for reviewing, auditing, and processing employee bereavement and specialized leave requests. This role requires a unique blend of deep empathy, meticulous attention to detail, and objective data analysis . The ideal candidate will handle sensitive employee lifecycle events with the utmost confidentiality and care, while ensuring strict adherence to company policy and preventing internal fraud.

Key Responsibilities

- Leave Auditing & Verification: Review high-risk or flagged bereavement and specialized leave submissions to ensure alignment with corporate policies.
- Documentation Review: Request, evaluate, and verify official documentation (e.g., obituaries, public records, certificates) with high discretion and accuracy.
- Empathetic Case Management:



Communicate professionally and compassionately with internal employees or site HR teams during sensitive personal situations.
- Fraud Detection & Escalation: Identify patterns, inconsistencies, or potential policy abuse in attendance data and escalate complex cases to Senior HR/Loss Prevention for further review.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, highly confidential records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and ticketing tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in HR operations, leave administration, compliance auditing, or high-touch customer support.
- Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Ability to navigate emotionally heavy conversations and interactions with dignity, tact, and respect.
- Analytical Thinking: Sharp eye for detail to spot discrepancies in timelines, documentation, or historical attendance patterns.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored for sensitive situations.
- Confidentiality: Absolute commitment to data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, or internal data security standards).
- Tools: Familiarity with HRIS platforms (like Workday, Salesforce, or custom ticketing systems) is a plus.
