Job Summary The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across all rooms, public spaces, and facility areas. This role involves managing a team of room attendants and housekeepers, inspecting work quality, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Team Supervision

- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and work zones to ensure strict adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Assign daily tasks and cleaning rosters to housekeeping staff.
- Prepare shift schedules and coordinate coverage for absences or peak periods.
- Train recent housekeepers on cleaning procedures, chemical safety, equipment operation, and customer service.

2. Inventory & Stock Management

- Track and maintain inventory for cleaning chemicals, linens, guest supplies, and equipment.
- Issue cleaning supplies to staff and ensure proper handling and storage (complying with health & safety standards).




- Perform regular stock audits and place orders for replenishment to maintain target stock levels.

3. Maintenance & Quality Control

- Identify, document, and report maintenance defects (e.g., plumbing, electrical, room damage) to the engineering department.
- Monitor room readiness and coordinate status updates with the Front Office/Reception team.
- Address customer or guest complaints/requests promptly and professionally.

4. Safety & Compliance

- Enforce health, hygiene, safety, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste and chemical agents.
- Maintain Lost & Found procedures in accordance with company policy.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
