Vianta Hotel in Jaigaon is seeking an experienced, proactive, and leadership-driven Hotel Manager to oversee daily hospitality operations, guide staff, and play an active hands-on role in hotel development and brand growth.

The ideal candidate brings strong background experience in guesthouse and hotel management, strong team-mentoring capabilities, and a practical understanding of hotel building, facility setup, and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hotel Building & Operational Setup

- Guide and consult on the physical setup, room layout, and amenity planning for hotel growth and development.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendor partners, and internal teams during property upgrades, fit-outs, and maintenance.
- Establish operational standards, safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and service workflows from the ground up.

2. Team Leadership & Employee Mentorship

- Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor front-desk, housekeeping, F&B;, and maintenance staff.
- Foster a positive, disciplined workplace culture with explicit performance expectations.
- Conduct regular training sessions on guest handling, crisis management, and hospitality standards.

3. Operations & Guest Experience

- Manage day-to-day operations across front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.




- Ensure exceptional guest experience standards, handling high-level inquiries, VIP visits, and resolving complaints promptly.
- Oversee room allocation, reservation systems, check-in/check-out processes, and inventory control.

4. Financial & Administrative Management

- Monitor daily revenue, room rates, occupancy levels, and operational expenses.
- Prepare operational budgets, manage vendor payments, and control overhead costs.
- Ensure full compliance with local government regulations, licenses, trade permits, and safety standards in Jaigaon.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience managing hotels, guest houses, or boutique properties.
- Education: Bachelors degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration preferred.

- Core Skills:
- Demonstrated background in hotel construction, room setup, or property development.
- Strong team management and mentorship abilities.
- Solid understanding of hotel operations, front-office PMS software, and inventory control.
- Excellent communication skills (English, Hindi, and local regional languages preferred).
- Location Flexibility: Candidates based in or willing to relocate to Jaigaon, West Bengal.
