We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Hospital Pharmacist to join our team to manage outpatient and inpatient pharmacy operations.

Job SummaryThe Hospital Pharmacist will oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, dispense prescribed medications, maintain accurate drug inventory, verify dosages, and counsel patients on proper medication usage. Freshers with robust clinical fundamentals are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities

- Dispensing & Verification: Accurately dispense oral, topical, and intravenous medications according to prescriptions issued by clinic physicians.
- Patient Counseling: Advise patients on correct dosage, administration routines, storage conditions, potential drug interactions, and side effects.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor drug stock levels, track shelf-life and expiration dates, manage reordering, and handle stock storage according to standard safety guidelines.
- Prescription Review: Review prescriptions for appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and clarity before compounding or dispensing.
- Regulatory Compliance:



Maintain strict compliance with state/national pharmacy regulations, dangerous drug schedules, and hospital policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, nursing staff, and clinic administration to coordinate patient treatment plans and resolve pharmaceutical queries.
- Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous documentation of controlled substances, billing records, patient profiles, and inventory logs.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Freshers / 0–3 years of experience. On-the-job guidance will be provided for entry-level candidates.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic proficiency in pharmacy management software, billing systems, and inventory tracking.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills in Tamil and English; strong attention to detail and patient empathy.
