Key Roles & Responsibilities:-

1. Provide nursing care to patients at their residence as per the prescribed treatment plan.

2. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiratory rate and SpO.

3. Administer prescribed medications, injections and other nursing procedures within the scope of ANM practice.

4. Provide basic wound care, dressing and post-operative nursing support.

5. Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, feeding and daily living activities, as required.

6. Monitor patients' health conditions and promptly report any abnormal findings or deterioration to the concerned doctor or nursing supervisor.

7. Maintain proper nursing records, medication charts, patient progress reports and visit documentation.

8. Educate patients and their family members regarding medication schedules, hygiene, nutrition and basic patient care.

9. Follow infection prevention, biomedical waste management and patient safety protocols.

10. Provide compassionate care to elderly, bedridden, post-operative and chronically ill patients.

11. Coordinate with doctors,



nursing supervisors and the home healthcare team for continuity of care.

12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.

13. Ensure punctuality, professional conduct and adherence to assigned home visit schedules.

Educational Qualification

- ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) from a recognized institution.

- Valid registration with the respective State Nursing Council, wherever applicable.

- Basic knowledge of nursing procedures, patient care and infection control.
