- Lead and supervise the team to ensure effective coordination, clear role ownership and provide training and development support to junior team members
- Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting, analytical datasets and data extracts.
- Design, build and support Qlik Sense dashboards, applications and visualisations.
- Develop Python-based automation and data-processing solutions.
- Enhance data models supporting Research management information and reporting.
- Improve reporting performance, data quality and operational efficiency.
- Investigate and resolve root causes of recurring reporting and data issues.
- Build solutions that reduce manual reporting and reconciliation effort.
- Support development of reporting across Research Home, Qlik and associated MIS platforms.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and priorities.
- Partner with Technology teams on data sourcing, architecture and platform enhancements.
- Support testing, deployment and implementation of current solutions.
- Ensure delivered solutions are documented, supported and operationally accepted prior to closure.
- Maintain and contribute to the MIS change backlog.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5 to 8 years of overall professional experience.
- Strong SQL development skills.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Hands-on Qlik Sense development experience.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets.
- Data modelling and data-transformation experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capability.
- Ability to convert business requirements into practical reporting and analytics solutions.
- Experience delivering reporting, automation or business intelligence solutions.
