Role & responsibilities

- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures at the construction site.

- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and applicable statutory requirements.

- Conduct regular site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.

- Ensure all workers and staff use appropriate PPE, including safety helmets, safety shoes, reflective jackets, gloves, and safety harnesses.

- Monitor proper use of PPE at all times.

- Conduct daily safety inspections at the construction site.

- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment reports.

- Monitor high-risk activities such as excavation, scaffolding, lifting, and working at heights.

- Ensure proper work permits are obtained before starting high-risk activities.

- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices.

- Risk assessment and hazard identification.

- Accident investigation and reporting.

- Positive communication and leadership skills.

- Ability to conduct safety training and toolbox talks.

- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.

- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
