Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance to lead the quality function at our welded lifting chains manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, quality management systems, testing, certifications, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).

- Oversee raw material, in-process, and final product inspections.

- Ensure quality compliance across welding, heat treatment, calibration, proof load testing, and finishing.

- Manage NDT, destructive testing, product certification, and third-party inspections.

- Ensure compliance with IS, EN, ASTM, BIS, and customer-specific standards.

- Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.

- Drive RCA, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives.

- Manage supplier quality, customer complaints, and corrective actions.

- Lead and develop the quality team, including engineers, inspectors,



and lab technicians.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and heat treatment.

- Hands-on experience in NDT methods – UT, MPI, Radiography, and Dye Penetrant Testing.

- Knowledge of lifting chain standards – IS 6216, IS 2760, EN 818, ASTM A973.

- Expertise in ISO 9001, quality audits, testing, and certification.

- Solid leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Candidate Profile:

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering (Mandatory).

- 12–20 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

- Experience in heavy engineering, forged/welded chains, lifting equipment, or a similar manufacturing industry is preferred.

- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

- NDT Level II / III certification preferred.

Pay: ₹254,000.00 - ₹1,240,000.00 per year
