Hi,
Greetings!
We are currently hiring for Financial services for the position of Head - Corporate Communications & Brand
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Media Relations & Thought Leadership
Define and lead the external communications strategy for comapny and each of its businesses, covering ratings, research, analytics, ESG and advisory, and the overseas subsidiaries. Make sure the strategy supports both the group's near-term priorities and its long-term direction.
Build a clear messaging framework for media engagement, so the group speaks with one consistent voice across businesses, spokespeople, overseas subsidiaries and international partners.
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with editors and senior journalists across leading print, financial, business and broadcast media in India, and develop a working network with international media.
Turn the group's research, data and analysis into stories that media houses pick up. Spot themes in the news early and match them with the right analyst and the right outlet.
Plan and drive proactive and reactive thought leadership:
- Proactive: a planned calendar of opinion pieces, interviews, posts and social media content around expected events such as policy announcements, the Union Budget, results seasons and sector developments.
- Reactive: quick, well-judged commentary when news breaks, so comapny is among the first credible voices quoted.
Lead reputation management. Carry out scenario planning for potential reputational issues and prepare responses in advance. When an issue arises, advise management on clear, accurate and timely communication, working with the internal teams concerned. Manage the group's PR and media agencies in India and overseas. Set their scope and expectations, review their performance regularly, and measure the impact of every campaign.
B. Leadership Profiling
Own and run an annual profiling programme for senior leadership team. It should cover media interviews, opinion pieces, speaking slots at industry and policy forums, and a consistent LinkedIn presence.
Act as a trusted adviser to the MD & CEO and senior leadership on their external visibility, messaging and media engagement.
Build a pool of credible spokespeople across businesses. Prepare senior analysts and business heads through media training, briefing notes and talking points.
Look out for speaking, panel and award opportunities at leading domestic and international forums.
C. Brand & Positioning
Own the company's brand and brand guidelines, and make sure they are followed across all businesses, print, digital, events and collateral.
Position company as a trusted source of actionable knowledge and insights for markets, investors, corporates and policymakers, beyond credit ratings.
Plan and run brand visibility campaigns, and bring workable, creative ideas for raising the group's profile.
Make sure the group's flagship research, reports and products are presented in a way that reinforces the brand.
Build the group's visibility in key international markets, including the UK, UAE, USA and Asia Pacific, and identify platforms that support its global ambitions.
D. Digital, Social Media and Content
Lead the group's digital and social media strategy and plan content in line with the proactive and reactive thought leadership calendar, with a particular focus on LinkedIn and YouTube. Use these platforms creatively to grow reach and engagement.
Track social media performance regularly and turn the numbers into practical ideas for growing organic engagement, using paid promotion where it adds value.
Drive outreach formats such as publications, newsletters, podcasts, videos and webinars.
Oversee the website and other digital assets so content stays current and engaging.
Lead and develop the in-house team of content creators, designers and editors, and maintain a high standard of quality in everything published.
E. Events and Outreach
Plan and run the group's annual events calendar, including flagship domestic and international events, conferences, roundtables and webinars.
Plan media outreach well ahead of key events. Bring the right media to attend, including top-tier print and broadcast outlets.
Make sure every event gets the right coverage and share coverage and impact analysis with leadership after each event.
Coordinate with business teams on event content, speakers, logistics and media assets.
F. Internal Communications In coordination with HR and other departments, design and run an internal communications strategy that keeps employees informed, engaged and connected across the group.
Strengthen employer branding and build pride in the organisation. Help every employee feel part of a group with a transparent purpose and a strong reputation.
Manage communications from the MD & CEO's office, townhalls and key announcements, and keep internal and external messaging aligned.
Maintain a high standard of quality and tone in all internal and external communication.
G. Measurement, Budget & Team Leadership
Own the annual corporate communications and brand budget, and make sure spending delivers clear value.
Define and track metrics, including media coverage, share of voice against peers, press release pickup, social media engagement and event outcomes.
Present monthly and quarterly reviews to leadership, covering progress, upcoming opportunities and recommendations.
Set clear deliverables and KPIs for agencies and vendors and review them regularly.
Lead, mentor and grow the communications team, building its capability in media relations, content, digital and internal communications.
