We’re a 45+ year old B2B sourcing and distribution company for electrical and industrial products, covering 40+ categories. We’re present in 100+ cities across India and have around 1,500 employees. We’re on a strong growth path, including acquisitions, and are building a modern, process-driven HR function to support it.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will set up and lead the HR Centre of Excellence. You’ll own the design of people processes, policies and systems, and make sure they’re adopted consistently across regions. This is a hands-on build role for a leader who likes creating structure from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

- Build the Compensation & Benefits capability (salary structures, increment cycles, variable pay, benchmarking and budgeting)
- Run goal setting, performance management, talent reviews and succession planning end-to-end
- Govern payroll, statutory compliance, HR audit,



MIS and master data, including outsourced partners
- Drive the HR technology and automation roadmap (HRMS: Keka; ERP interface: SAP)
- Guide the L&D;, engagement and employee experience streams
- Lead HR integration for acquisitions, and change management so new processes are adopted
- Lead a team of three stream heads covering L&D; and Engagement, PMS and HR Ops, and Compliance, Payroll and HR Tech

What We’re Looking For

- MBA / PGDM in HR from a reputed institute; a C&B; certification is an advantage
- 15+ years in HR, with 5+ years leading COE, C&B; or HR Operations teams in a multi-location organisation
- Hands-on C&B; design experience is a must
- Strong exposure to PMS, payroll and compliance governance, and HRMS implementation
- Background in distribution, manufacturing, engineering or similar multi-location businesses preferred
- Strong process design, stakeholder management and change management skills
