Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and multi-talented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to join the core branding and marketing team at Utilstop in Chennai. In this role, you will play a key part in crafting visually compelling content for our home and utility services marketplace—ranging from app promotion, digital campaigns, social media reels, to customer engagement creatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Digital & Brand Marketing Assets:

Design creative assets for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube), digital marketing campaigns, performance ads, app store visuals, emailers, presentations, banners, and offline marketing collateral.

· Video Production & Editing:

Edit high-quality, engaging videos for social media channels, product launches, brand story campaigns, promotional video ads, and internal communication videos.

· Motion Graphics & Reels:

Develop eye-catching motion graphics, animations, short-form reel videos, and interactive content to boost user engagement across digital platforms.

· Visual Storytelling & Infographics:

Create visually appealing infographics, illustrations, and brand creatives that simplify complex service offerings, user app guides, and promotional deals.

· Brand Identity & Consistency:

Maintain strict brand consistency in typography, colors, visual identity, and voice across all customer-facing and partner communication channels.

· Cross-Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing, branding, content, and product engineering teams to conceptualize, pitch, and execute integrated campaign strategies.

· AI & Design Innovation:

Stay updated with design trends, AI-powered creative platforms, video editing techniques, and social media content formats to produce cutting-edge media.

· Asset & Project Management:





Efficiently manage multiple creative pipelines simultaneously under fast-paced deadlines while maintaining organized visual asset libraries, templates, and brand kits.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Skills & Tools

· Creative Software:

High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) & Higgsfield.

· Motion Graphics:

Solid hands-on experience in motion graphics, title animation, keyframing, and video transitions.

· AI & Modern Tools:

Working knowledge of Canva and AI-assisted design and content generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, or similar platforms).

· Design Fundamentals:

Deep understanding of layout, typography, color theory, grid systems, branding, and visual storytelling.

· Multimedia Skills:

Basic hands-on knowledge of videography, photography framing, color grading, and audio/sound editing is a strong advantage.

· Platform Specialization:

Proven capability to produce channel-optimized content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook Ads, and Google Display Ads.

· Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, creative thinking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

· Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Fine Arts, or a related field.

· Experience:

2–6 years of hands-on experience in graphic design and video editing. (Experience in consumer technology, e-commerce, home services, or rapid-paced startup environments is a major advantage).

· Portfolio:

A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in graphic design, brand identity, motion graphics, and video editing is mandatory.
