Job Summary

We are hiring a detail-oriented GIS Assistant to support geospatial data management, digital mapping, satellite imagery analysis, and spatial data processing for carbon credit and environmental sustainability projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain GIS maps using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS.
- Perform spatial data processing and geographical analysis.
- Map improved cookstove distribution locations, beneficiary clusters, and project boundaries.
- Support GIS mapping for mangrove restoration and environmental projects.
- Verify GPS coordinates and field-collected geographical data.
- Maintain GIS databases, shapefiles, and geographical records.
- Analyse satellite imagery, land use,



and geographical boundaries.
- Prepare thematic maps, spatial reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with field teams for geographical data collection and validation.

Educational Qualifications
- B.Sc. in Geography with a Diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS; OR
- M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS from a recognised institution.
