Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Tactical Buyer!

The Buyer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, from Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) and ensuring timely order fulfillment, Reporting, AP Issue Resolution & Fulfillment. This role involves coordinating with various departments, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

- Review and process purchase requisitions from various departments and convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
- Ensure all requisitions are complete and validate demand in SAP.
- Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure purchase orders are accurate and include all necessary details.
- Communicate purchase orders to suppliers and confirm receipt.
- Track and monitor the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery, pull-in or push-out orders and update SAP for any change in supplier Promise Dates.
- Expedite urgent requirements and coordinate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
- Update the ERP system with delivery dates and order status.
- Maintain detailed records of all purchase orders and related documents, adherence to KPI’s and business SLA’s is mandatory.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and order status.
- Evaluate supplier performance and address any issues.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

- University graduates in any discipline.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of the PR to PO process and order fulfillment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of Sourcing & Procurement processes in Manufacturing industry. Experience in handling the procurement of direct materials is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Practical knowledge of SAP is a must.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.
