Role & responsibilities

- Define and execute the IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned to business priorities.
- Lead manufacturing digitisation across plants, covering production, quality, maintenance, inventory, warehouse and supply-chain processes.
- Own the ERP strategy and modernisation roadmap, with strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA / SAP HANA and/or Infor.
- Identify manual, paper and Excel driven processes and drive simplification, standardisation and automation using ERP, workflow, RPA, low-code, integration, analytics or AI where relevant.
- Improve integration between shop-floor systems and enterprise applications, including ERP, MES, IoT and related manufacturing technologies.
- Build stronger data and management visibility across production, quality, inventory, supply chain, cost and business performance.
- Evaluate and select technology vendors, implementation partners and specialist agencies; govern them on architecture, delivery, cost, timelines and business outcomes.
- Ensure reliable and secure IT operations covering infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, business continuity and IT governance.
- Build the right balance of internal IT capability and external specialist partners.

Lead the companys IT and digital transformation agenda with a strong focus on manufacturing digitisation, ERP modernisation and automation of manual processes. The role requires a business-oriented technology leader who can understand manufacturing operations, identify where technology can improve productivity and control,



define the right solutions, and bring in suitable implementation partners to execute them.

1. Career Progression

This is a growth-oriented position. The individual will initially support and lead identified IT and digital initiatives and, based on performance, capability and experience, will progressively take on broader responsibility for the IT function, with the chance to grow into the role of Head IT & Digital Transformation.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Tech. / MBA-IT or equivalent

Skills & Competency

- 15+ years of IT experience, preferably with significant exposure to manufacturing organisations.
- Leadership experience in IT, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing IT, with the capability and aspiration to progressively take on broader IT leadership responsibilities.
- Strong experience in ERP transformation, ideally SAP S/4HANA / SAP HANA and/or Infor.
- Demonstrated experience in manufacturing digitisation and business-process automation.
- Good understanding of MES, integration, data & analytics, cloud and cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to manage system integrators, technology vendors and large transformation programmes.
- Able to engage credibly with manufacturing, supply chain, finance and senior leadership.
- Proficient or at least good knowledge in applying AI

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years in IT field.
- Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
