Key Responsibilities:
- Production & Commercial: Monitor daily output, efficiency, quality and wastage, and track sales pricing and margins.
- Expense Control: Verify labour, vehicle, diesel (HSD) and power costs, make sure budgets are followed, and prevent leakages.
- Profit Centre P&L;: Prepare and analyse the P&L; for each profit centre and report to senior management.
- Daily Reporting: Make sure accurate daily operational and financial reports reach Head Office.
- Government Liaison: Handle compliance, inspections and approvals with authorities.
- Administration: Oversee staff, security, attendance and discipline, and verify salaries and wages.
- Recent Initiatives: Study whether a crusher unit is viable and set one up, and set up a weighbridge at the mines.
