We’re Hiring: Technical Lead – GE Smallworld GIS (Power Utilities)

Are you an experienced GE Smallworld GIS Lead with solid expertise in power distribution systems?

Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh (On-site / Client Location)

Experience: 8–12 years total (5+ years in GE Smallworld & DISCOM/Power Utilities)

Key Responsibilities

- Client & Team Leadership: Act as the main technical point of contact (SPOC) for client stakeholders, run requirement workshops, and direct daily team operations.
- Platform Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and manage the GE Smallworld product suite (Geospatial Server, Design Manager, Schematics Generator), including user authorization, server admin (Windows/Linux), and DC–DR replication.
- Database & Data Management: Administer VMDS databases, run integrity checks, manage versioning, and handle data migration using FME .
- Network & App Support:



Manage circuit configurations, perform network/load-flow analyses, execute release/outage management, and resolve technical tickets.

What We’re Looking For

- Education: B.Tech/B.E. in CS, IT, Electrical, or related field (Diploma with relevant experience considered).
- Technical Core: GE Smallworld (4.3 / 5.x), VMDS administration, FME, Windows/Linux server management. Exposure to ArcGIS, AutoCAD, or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Domain Expertise: Power distribution/transmission network modeling and experience with government-funded power programs (RDSS / IPDS / R-APDRP).
- Skills: Excellent client-facing communication (English & Hindi) and strong production issue management.
