Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and support GCP infrastructure and cloud platform services.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using GitLab and ArgoCD.
- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, and availability using monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
- Implement cloud security practices and operational best practices.
- Support data platform services and cloud-native integrations.
- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution activities.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and cloud cost optimization.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and platform teams.

Required Skills

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)





- Compute Engine, VPC Networking, IAM
- Cloud Load Balancing and Cloud DNS
- Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
- Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging

Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with GKE and Kubernetes.
- Kubernetes deployments, pod lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of Ingress, networking, and resource management.

Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Terraform modules, remote state management, and infrastructure automation.

Networking
- VPC design, subnets, routing, and firewall rules.
- Understanding of VPN and private connectivity concepts.

Monitoring and Operations
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Infrastructure monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and operational support.

Data Platform Exposure
- Familiarity with BigQuery, Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow), Kafka, CloudAMQP, or GCS.
