We are looking for a fluent native or expert-level Grahwali speaker with a strong command of english to review, evaluate and approve Garhwali translations for multimedia and localization projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and approve Garhwali translation strings on the localization platform.
- Ensure translations are accurate, natural, and contextually appropriate.
- Perform quality checks on translated content and identify language errors.
- Maintain consistent terminology throughout translations.
- Ensure technical media terms such as Play, Pause, Playlist, and Audio Track are easy to understand in Garhwali.
- Identify UI issues such as text overlapping or incorrect text display on screens.
- Check subtitles and multimedia-related language content.
- Ensure high-quality localization rather than word-for-word translation.
Required Skills & Eligibility:
- Native or expert-level fluency in Garhwali.
- Solid command of English to understand and translate technical terms.
- Ability to read and write Garhwali.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with web browsers.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and spreadsheets.
- Basic understanding of multimedia formats such as MP4, MKV, MP3, and AAC.
- Understanding of subtitles, playlists, and media streaming.
- Good attention to detail and quality-checking skills.
