Role & responsibilities

Sales and distribution

- Field role covering city beats and general stores, bakeries, sweet marts, ice cream parlours, school canteens and pan shops.

- Take orders, open new outlets every month and grow repeat orders from existing ones.

- Work with our distributor or stockist on stock levels, order placement, delivery follow-up and payment collection.

- Keep products available on shelves, check expiry and damaged stock, and handle returns.

Point-of-sale marketing

- Put up stickers, danglers, posters and shelf strips at counters and keep them in good condition.

- Get good shelf and freezer placement for our products.

- Launch schemes and new products at counters and give out samples when we run them.

Market information and product feedback

- Track competitor products, prices, schemes, retailer margins and recent launches in your area.

- Collect feedback from retailers and customers on taste, packaging, price and shelf life, and share it every week.

Counter database on the Ketaki app

- Register every counter you visit in our app:



shop name, owner, phone, location, shop type, brands stocked and a photo of the shop.

- Log every visit and order in the app the same day, and keep the data accurate.

Reporting

- Send a daily report of visits and orders, and meet monthly sales and outlet targets.

Preferred candidate profile

- 1 or more years of field sales in FMCG or food: biscuits, dairy, ice cream, chocolates, snacks or beverages.

- Knows the Kolhapur retail market well. Existing relationships with retailers and distributors are a plus.

- Has their own two-wheeler and a valid driving licence. This is required.

- Comfortable using a smartphone for WhatsApp, app data entry and photos.

- Speaks Marathi and Hindi.

Basic

English is a plus.

- At least 10th pass. 12th pass or graduate preferred.

- Available full-time, six days a week in the field.

- Self-driven, punctual and honest with stock, cash and data.
