Coconut Grove Eco-Stay is a boutique container farmstay retreat nestled in greenery near Channapatna. We cater to families, couples, and travelers seeking a quiet, natural getaway. We pride ourselves on maintaining exceptional cleanliness, guest hospitality, and seamless on-ground operations.

Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Caretaker / Housekeeping Lead who can independently run and maintain the property. You will be the face of the retreat for our guests and the primary custodian responsible for property upkeep, cleanliness, basic logistics, and vendor coordination when maintenance issues arise.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping & Deep Cleaning:

Clean, sanitize, and prepare container rooms, linen, bathrooms, and kitchenettes before every guest check-in.

Maintain spotless lawns, decks, plunge pool areas, and compound surroundings.

Ensure trash is collected, separated, and disposed of properly without litter on grounds.

Guest Management & Hospitality:

Warmly welcome guests, assist with check-in/checkout formalities, and brief them on property guidelines and house rules.

Provide attentive, polite customer support throughout their stay.

Coordinate or deliver basic guest meal/refreshment requests and supplies promptly.

Independent Maintenance & Vendor Coordination:

Act swiftly when practical issues arise (plumbing, water motor,



electricity, AC, pool filtration, or Wi-Fi).

Maintain direct contacts with local Channapatna electricians, plumbers, and technicians to get quick on-site repairs done independently without requiring daily supervision.

Monitor water levels, garden watering, and basic tool/supply inventories.

Security & Property Care:

Ensure perimeter gates are locked and secure.

Remind guests to respect quiet hours and property boundaries to prevent neighborhood friction.

Requirements & Qualifications

Languages: Fluent/Conversational in Kannada (essential for local vendors/neighbors) and basic Hindi (for interacting with visiting travelers). Basic conversational English is a plus.

Vehicle Requirement: Must own a two-wheeler (bike/scooter) with a valid driving license for local supply runs, groceries, and travel to Channapatna town.

Experience: 1+ years in resort caretaking, homestay management, hotel housekeeping, or estate maintenance.

Problem-Solving Skills: Resourceful and self-driven; able to handle unexpected guest queries or minor facility breakdowns calmly and efficiently.

Integrity & Reliability: Honest, punctual, and comfortable working independently in a farm workplace.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
