Urgent opening for Estimation (costing) Engineer in Mumbai Location
Position: Estimation Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical) or DME
Experience: 46 years for Degree holders; 1 year for Diploma holders
Reporting To: Project Manager
ROLE PURPOSE:
Planning, coordination, and execution of all projects to ensure that projects meet delivery timelines and customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare machine cost estimates as per buying sheets.
- Maintain standard machine price lists and determine competitive pricing.
- Handle costing, estimation, and monthly dispatch job costing.
- Create spare-parts quotations and Sales Orders (SOs).
- Maintain and verify Sales Orders, Purchase Orders (POs), and order-booking reports in SAP.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Back Office teams for order finalization.
- Obtain budget approvals after receiving customer POs.
- Monitor CRM expenses and track pending orders and monthly gross profit (GP).
- Review costing against estimation and release technically verified Sales Orders for invoicing.
- Prepare and monitor pending-order reports using SAP.
