Role Overview

Incuspaze is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager EHS (Projects) to manage Environment, Health & Safety practices across commercial interior fit-out and Design & Build projects.

The role will be responsible for ensuring secure project execution, contractor safety, statutory compliance, and implementation of EHS standards across project sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in construction safety, site inspections, risk assessments, and managing EHS activities at commercial project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day EHS activities across commercial interior fit-out and construction project sites.
- Implement project-specific EHS plans, SOPs, safety checklists, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures for high-risk activities, including work at height, hot work, electrical work, lifting, scaffolding, and material handling.
- Implement and monitor the Permit to Work (PTW) system across project sites.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to EHS policies and safety standards.
- Review Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA), and Risk Assessment documents before commencement of critical activities.
- Ensure proper usage of PPE and safety equipment by workers, contractors, and project teams.
- Monitor fire safety and life safety requirements during project execution.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).




- Conduct safety inductions and awareness training for contractors, supervisors, workers, and project teams.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory EHS compliance at all project locations.
- Maintain EHS MIS, incident reports, audit reports, compliance trackers, and safety documentation.
- Monitor and report project-level EHS performance and safety KPIs.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, PMC, Design, Procurement, and Operations teams to ensure safety compliance.
- Ensure EHS compliance throughout the project lifecycle, from site mobilisation to project handover.
- Promote a strong safety-first culture and drive towards zero incidents across project sites.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, or EHS will be preferred.
- NEBOSH / IOSH certification will be an added advantage.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in EHS / Construction Safety.
- Hands-on experience in commercial interior fit-outs, Design & Build, office interiors, or construction projects is preferred.
- Working knowledge of fire safety norms, statutory compliances, NBC guidelines, and applicable safety standards.
- Experience conducting site safety audits, risk assessments, and contractor safety management.
