We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Melting Engineer to join our Steel Casting Foundry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle induction furnace melting operations.
- Prepare and execute melting plans as per production requirements.
- Knowledge of carbon steel, low alloy steel and stainless steel grades.
- Chemical composition control and spectrometer analysis.
- Charge calculation and raw material selection.
- Ferro alloy additions and temperature control.
- Ensure proper deoxidation, tapping and pouring practices.
- Control melt quality and minimise rejection due to metallurgical defects.
- Maintain heat-wise melting records and production documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality and Production departments.

Required Qualifications:

- DME / BSc
- Diploma in Metallurgy may also be considered with relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in steel casting foundry preferred.
- Practical experience in induction furnace melting.
- Knowledge of ASTM material specifications and steel grades.
- Experience in spectrometer operation and chemical composition control.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
